How does the beginning of my story sound?

the idea is really great, and the language is fitting for the genre I'm sure you're trying to fit into, but I feel like you reveal too much, too fast. There's no wondering or suspense. It's relatively easy to fix, though, just add more details and try to prolong the important events a little longer.
