Does this so called stimulus pkg help us or hurt us.?

as I see it, back in the 30's when the depression started. the govt tried to stimulate the economy by spending all kinds of money and in the end caused it to last 7yrs longer. now they are doing the same thing ,only this time they have their 'no bank left behind' program that does not deal with the ppl who are suffering the most but only aids the big corps. even the child medical program which sounds good until you realize that it covers children in Kenya. so I ask, is this stimulus pkg they are doing going to help us or destroy us. looks to me they are trying to hurt us more. your thoughts please.
