How can I remember my grandma?

My grandma died on sunday and we have always been very close. My grandad wants a cremation which I have always been against but even weirder he doesn't want to collect the ashes and do anything with them afterwards. I really want somewhere that I can go that feels like my grandma, has anybody got an suggestions as to what I could do or suggest we do with the ashes?
