Okay so urgent question ?

I have recentally self mutilated n its not the first time i've done it just the first in a while and I am going to try to talk to my professor that I have been goin thru some things but idk wether to tell her i self mutilated n tried to commit suicide. Please don't lecture i'm already seein a psychologist and i am 20 goin on 21 so they cAn't do much but suggest i see sm1 so do you think i shud let them kno so they kno im a serious student jus goin thru a lot or is it a fruitless effort?
