How to remove new ear piercing studs?

These backs are really tough to get off! First off, get someone else to try doing it. Preferably with enough fingernails to grip the earring properly. Make sure they've got clean hands (spray some of the antiseptic ear spray on their fingertips). Get them to hold the front of the earring with one hand & the earring back with the other. Then pull. The back should make one 'jump' over the first bump of the post, then another to get off the end. If they can't do it, or you don't have anyone to help, go back to the place you got them done or a pharmacy & ask them to help. Once the earring's out, give your ear a good spray & clean out any gunk with a cotton bud, spray the new earrings & put them in straightaway!
