Motorcycle question!!!!?

My husband bought a 1990 kawasaki Zephyr 550 on craigslist about a month ago. He would keep his key to it on the set for our truck, it got stolen at work and now we dont have a key for the motorcycle. Who can i call to find out how i can get a spare key made so he can start using his bike again? I called a local dealer here in honolulu and they were not helpfull at all, they said they didnt think they could do that but that they would call me back that same day to let me know what they had found out about the spare key. I never got a call back. Can someone help me please.
