If i conduct an experiment for the school science fair, and im wrong, can i still win?

ok i am going to try to Unify Quantum Mechanics with General Relativity for my high school science fair.. if i do conduct a science experiment and am shown inconclusive and don't prove anything can i still win by having what they BASICALLY WANT, the scientific method.... you don't need to be correct all the time to use the scientific method you know?
